SATFERR S.r.l. was born in 1997: his founder, Giuseppe Porreca, after 40 years of field experience, decided to combine the force his strong expertise with a customised and innovative approach in order to deliver a full tailor-made design service.
Railway engineering and technology
The competences acquired and the particularly motivated attitude of a young and dynamic team have given Satferr the opportunity to grow and develop further and further over the years. Originally a design company for railway electrification systems, it is now an all-round problem-solving company as far as railway technologies are concerned.

Satferr means innovation. A solid relationship with Gruppo Bonomi Spa and Bonciani Spa was established in 2008, with the aim of engineering the OMNIA cantilever, which became a RFI standard in 2009. Since then, Satferr has kept a close focus on innovation and delivering new solutions: with the new OMNIA AV 25 kV a.c. cantilever, a speed of 400km per hour can be reached.
